We are currently accepting new students, and all ages are welcome. We typically recommend dancers to be ages 4 and up with adults welcome as well! We offer opportunities for your dancers to perform, compete, or simply have fun.

What to Bring/Wear
Dancers should wear comfortable athletic clothes, socks, sneakers or jazz shoes, and hair should be pulled back. Once you're registered and committed to classes, we can help you order beginner soft shoes for your dancer.
*All dancers start in soft shoes or "ghillies" which are similar to a ballet type shoe. Once they learn the basics of soft shoe, they will advance to learning hard shoe as well. Hard shoes are similar to tap shoes.
Beginner Classes
Dancers will learn the fundamentals and basic footwork of Irish Dance while also learning choreography & timing of the music for the core dances ~ Reel, Light Jig, Slip Jig, Hornpipe, & Treble Jig. All dancers learn soft shoe first and then learn hard shoe once they've developed enough strength and understanding of soft shoe. Dancers in this class do have the opportunity to perform and compete once they have an efficient understanding of their steps, if that is something you desire for your child. Competition levels start at beginner and can be a great opportunity for your child to grow confidence, make friends, and have fun!

Adult Beginner Classes
The adult class will also review the basic fundamental footwork, choreography and timing of Irish Dance. There will also be opportunities to learn ceili dancing, which is choreographed group dancing and a lot of fun! Adults can take Irish Dance simply for the fun of it, or to perform and compete, there are many opportunities for that. This class will be low-pressure, but a fun challenging workout as well. We'd love to have you!
